Sudbourne Park Printmakers is a community of artists made up of experienced printmakers and those who are in the early stages of developing their skills in etching and woodcuts. The group makes use of professional facilities in a creative environment, with excellent technical support and the opportunity to share ideas and learn from each other.
Membership of Sudbourne Park Printmakers is open to anyone who is interested in making a commitment to acquiring or developing printmaking skills. Many of our members originally started out by attending one of our two-day workshops.
Members attend the workshop on supervised days, either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, for one day a week over three ten-week terms. If for any reason a member is unable to attend on their allotted day, an arrangement can then be made to make up the time lost. In addition, members have the opportunity to use the facilities on unsupervised days when they have reached the required level of competence in printmaking.
Members also have the opportunity to exhibit in our two annual exhibitions, one in the Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh, at Easter and at our Bothy Yard workshop near Christmas.
